Rucksack Recommendations?

I have a north face and an outlander both from TK maxx they both have water bottle mesh on the sides and mesh on the back they were both less than £30 and hold loads

I would also recommend TK Maxx. I bought a couple years ago and they are still going strong.

A few years ago I bought my daughter a Vera Bradley one in Orlando. It was a bit more expensive -she used it at school for a couple of years and is still using at university. Just remember you will need to get each compartment checked at bag check when entering each park.

Hello. I have spent 20 years searching for the right park bag 😂 My favourites have become the Kath Kidston fold up rucksacks. Super lightweight. Less sweaty than any others I’ve tried and they dry out fast if they get wet. You can also sling them in the washing machine. Also tiny to pack. Nice and easy on the shoulders too. Not sure the side pockets would hold a water bottle though they are there but not deep. I carry a Chilly’s water bottle inside mine.

I've used an Osprey Talon 11 twice in Orlando and now in CA with it...not cheap but great for what you describe.

We went away from rucksacks last time we visited. In stead we went totally with a bumbag each. I bought emergency ponchos, folding drink bottles. Everything was just smaller and we shared out the things that we all used like sun cream, plasters etc. It was so liberating no bags and no hassle in queues for rides. Sorry of course this isn't helpful if you need a bag for other things or have young children.

I’d rethink your plan. Do you need a backpack at all? We each have a bumbag. I carry quite a large camera in mine. Kids would carry their own autograph books. Everyone has emergency poncho in their own bumbag.

Dh carries water bottle on a clip on this belt.

When the kids were little DH had quite a big Bumbag. I think it was for cycling and he could get a spare change of clothes in it. I would pick the thinnest dress or shorts/T-shirt and put them in a ziplock and squeeze the air out and he would get that in the back of his Bumbag.

We also use bum bags or small shoulder bags. If its hot you will end up with a soaking back wearing a rucksack, have to take it off each ride (there is nowhere really to leave them next to the coasters and you don't always get off where you get on). We also had a huge bumbag for bh designed for cyclists, it had a huge pocket and 2 x drink bottle holders.

I use a kipling cross body bag, fits in my wallet, suncream, pack of wipes and a spare change of clothes for my daughter and still got room for more!
