name change

just wondering what people have paid for this to be done, i checked our travel providers t&c and its £175 + what the airline charge to do this, if we cancel and rebook will lose deposit plus £100 also, we dont go till end of nov, so flights havent been paid yet! seems kind of steep to me!

Name changes are always expensive - if its not for the flights though so you really need to change the name (i.e. is it just a small mistake) ?

No its a full name change, 2 of our party have pulled out so my dd bestie is coming with us aswell!

I think for small changes like Mr /Mrs mistakes European law says no charge but for a person change that is different. I recently put my Mrs as Mr on an easyjet flight and was surprised to see small changes like that were free but then read it was now due to european rules.
As you are using tickets for different people you are lucky that you can even change it rather than cancel it.
