Great report, can't believe you managed all those rides in the amount of time the park was open. We visited last July but the queues were obscene, my son has adhd and doesn't manage well in queues so we spent loads of time in the amusements.
It's certainly no Disney but I think still a good theme park, gardens are lovely. I still prefer Blackpool pleasure beach over Alton towers.

Apologies if you already know but it sounds like your son would be eligible for a ride access pass which could eliminate most of the queueing. There is a full guide with info on their website. Hope that helps.

I did this for 2 days solo last year, with a night at the main Alton Towers hotel - was good fun but 2 days was enough!
