Hi Simon,
Please excuse my ignorance is this only useful to onsite guests alternatively will it benefit everyone going to Disney theme parks?

Everyone, both on-site and off-site. It is actually more useful for off site because off site have to book 30 days ahead of each day they will be in the park. On Site can book ALL theirs 60 days ahead of check in. So off site will get reminded each day they need to book FP+. On Site will get reminded once on the 60 days ahead time.

Loving this good job! Was wondering when the day comes to book fast passes what time can you book? do we have to wait until 11am?like ADRs?

It seems from 5am. So midnight in Florida.
The Calendar reminders are set for 8am so as not to get everyone up at 5
