Dvds free for a charity?
We had a clear out yesterday and threw out dozens of dvds, some not even watched and many fairly recent films (we are only keeping blu ray or 4k films).
The chairty shops don't want the dvds and no point getting pennies on ebay for them. I still have them in black bags, so if anyone knows of charities that might benefit from them before they go out for the rubbish collection next week please let me know (I am happy to drop them off - within reason)? You must have quite a lot as you mention black bags.
To save them going to landfill have you tried Music Magpie? They give rubbish prices but if you can get to their minimum amount it is a way of getting rid of them and maybe get a tenner or so.

Agree with Mr T, when we moved house and cleared out dozens of cd’s and dvd’s I used music magpie and although they don’t give you much it came to a fair amount as there were so many, it’s an easy process to do as well x

seconded music magpie - even a small amount is better than nothing.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the replies but I won't spend ages listing them on music magpie because I'm too lazy, so sadly unless a charity wants them, the rubbish men/women will collect them next week.

CEX takes them and only gives pennies for them but at least they don’t go to landfill. You can just pop in the local branch which is easier than selling online

Have you considered donating them to a local school? That sort of thing may go down a storm at a summer Fayre and raise some much needed cash for the school
