Mobile Is this a strange present?

I have seen a couple of advent calendars with contents my daughter would love.
I usually only spend £2 each on the children’s chocolate advent calendars and certainly wont spend £20 on one 😂😂
So I am thinking of getting them and wrapping them up for Christmas. As an adult she doesn’t get anything to play with so this could pass some time and be fun opening the doors 🤣
Or is that just too weird?

If it is one time use, then yes IMO it would be weird to give someone an advent on Christmas day.

If it could be used multiple years then I would consider it.

I bought my girls and niece a twelve day makeup calendar in the sale and gave them it as a Christmas gift. They used it as a countdown to the return of school.
They quite enjoyed the little gift every day, made Christmas last a little longer.

Maybe buy, but take contents out and rewrap so your giving her the contents but not an advent calendar as such.

DD (adult) asked for the Pop Vinyl Nightmare Before Christmas Advent which I've pre ordered. It's £50 so will definitely be part of her Xmas presents, but she'll get it for December.

I wouldn’t give them as Christmas presents, I think it’s a bit disapointing to be honest. I would give it to them beginning of Dec and say it’s part of your present but early xx

I am going to check out the individual items because they will probably be cheaper anyway.
One was a beanie coffee advent calendar £20. 👍🏻👍🏻
