What would you do...
We purchased our dvc contract this year which ended up having 41 2019 points.
We aren’t going to go this year and so filled in the form with David’s rentals. It’s a feb UY so don’t have much time left and they have been with them ages (since end of August) and have no interest. Not sure whether to ditch this and put them into RCI, I’d rather not lose them or the dollars I assume no one has had any luck trying it on with Disney asking if they can move points across to a different year |

Get on that Facebook page ( see other posts) and offer them out cheap- something is a bonus in this scenario.
Disney won’t let you move them as they are already banked.

Which fb page is that - sorry not sure if I’ve seen it.
Also I guess if I do that I need to notify David’s rentals? |

Definitely worth renting your spare points on the FB page.

You can have a confirmed booking or just available points. People also post requests so if you see a request which matches closely with the amount of points you have available you PM the person and negotiate a booking.
Payment is by paypal or other online methods to suit you both. |

Not rented yet myself but I believe if you google some samples will come up. If you draw up your own basic one it's important to state, for example, 'no refunds or changes unless resort closes' etc

With this amount of time left I would and have transferred into RCI. I didn’t want to be in the position of what to do if there’s another shutdown. We had a 4 night stay in Devon through half term, and have a week in Arizona booked for next December so I’m happy with the outcome
