Cancelling and returning points

Has anyone had experience of cancelling and having their points moved back into the banked points so you don't lose them? We were meant to be there for Xmas and had 3 nights booked at The Boardwalk - boardwalk view

Obviously we will not be going so I need to cancel my reservation and just wondered what other's experiences were.

I'm not sure but if they were banked then used to book then you can't re bank? You should look to rent out if thats the case. If you offer them low enough you will easily sell them.

If they haven't been banked then phone up member services and they will sort, either way member services will keep you right. I had 2 bookings and member services switched the points about so I could bank what I could and I just had to use the others or lose (I did lose 1 point). I rented them via David's and it was stress free. Took me a bit to figure out how, but I got there.

Have a word with member services. They know us Brits aren't in the same boat as US members, so it might be worth seeing if they can do anything.
