Real or Artificial tree?

So you lovely lot...

Do you have a real Christmas tree?

An artificial one?
And what colour is the artificial?

What height is your tree?

2 artificial green ones for indoors and use a metal obelisk covered in lights outside the front door. Indoor ones are 6’ and a 3’ table top one.

We have an artificial green tree, think it’s about 7ft.

Never had a real tree as in my imagination I can hear it crying in the corner of the room from being cut down. 😂 🌲 😢 (I know their life goal is to sit in others houses, I also know I sound potty! 😂 )

I have a real one outside and a real looking fake inside. I also burn the pine wax melts to give the illusion.

We always had real but went for a snowy artificial this time . Just wanted the tree up extra early with what was happening this year.. Will probably go back to real in a couple of years when we have been back to Disney 😀

We've always had a real one in the lounge, going to choose it when the kids were little has always been an event that we all looked forward to every year. There was always an artificial one in the hallway and the kids each had their own little ones in their rooms.

Now that DD has flown the nest and DS about to turn 18 that ritual has gone and we've just ordered an artificial one, gone for a very realistic looking 7' one for the lounge.

Quite sad really that that ritual has gone but I'm branching out into clear AND coloured lights for it, I've always been a fan of just clear lights, but I'm thinking we may have grandchildren one day who'll like the coloured lights!

Like other things in my life, the tree has got smaller over the years.

From real 7’ to our present specimen, a green artificial 4’.

I used to look forward to the annual tree event but now I find it just gives me the needle.

Our Xmas ‘box’ however is full of memories from christmas past. We love opening it,...it is a voyage of discovery. Tree decorations made by the kids over the years together with Disney purchases from holidays past.
