Mobile Front door decorations

We can’t put a wreath on our front door because it scratches easily.

I have seen the Christmas door bows bit can’t decide if I love them or hate them 🧐

I assume they wont scratch or mark the door?

A couple of my neighbours have already wrapped their doors. Tbh not for me, I find them a bit tacky, but each to their own.

I attached felt to the back of my wreaths so stopping any scratches

I’m not a huge fan of wrapped doors, I don’t think it’s for me. I’ve never had a wreath either but was considering one this year.

I never thought of putting felt at the back. We have a new door so i would be devastated if it got scratched. Our front door is set back and its like a wind tunnel in bad weather so any wreaths on our old door would bang like mad

Oh this is a good idea.
I made my first ever wreath yesterday as couldn’t find one I liked in the shops and didn’t consider putting felt on the back .

My wreath has never marked my door. My friend makes my wreath every year and it’s never left a mark. Here are my last few - I’ll post this years when I get it

There’s houses around our way seem to have wreaths on all year. Saw summery ones and orange and brown ones in the autumn. Haven’t been around the estate yet to see the Christmas ones but sure they’ve got them

Colette - does your friend take orders? Her wreaths are gorgeous.

We’ve had a new door and can’t work out how to attach a wreath easily so we’ve put it on our front gate! It actually looks quite good.
