DisneyAL - 13 Nights at Coronado Springs - Day 4 - Discovery Cove & Hollywood Studios
Day 1 - Travel Day
Day 2 - Magic Kingdom Day 3 - Animal Kingdom Rides Rode - 3 FastPasses Used - 2 Weather - Sunny/Breezy - 18H/11L Steps taken - 19,603 steps Miles walked - 9.44 miles We woke up early again today to go to Discovery Cove. This morning was freezing and only about 10 degrees when we set off. We were really concerned about the weather being too cold today. Discovery Cove was beautiful and we went straight for breakfast. Again, it was freezing while we were eating this but we really enjoyed the food. Wetsuits were then put on, we both chose long ones and instantly we felt much warmer. We learnt that the water in the pools is heated so we were plenty warm enough on our first swim. Weather was no longer an issue with perfect blue skies all day. We had a good swim in all pools and the grand reef, snorkelling with the fish and rays. We then had lunch. A had the pulled pork and L had a cheeseburger. Again we really enjoyed the food. We got a Lyft to the Character Warehouse at the Vineland outlets on. the way back to pick up a couple of things. We then went to Disney Springs to look in World of Disney before going back to the room on a bus then back out to Hollywood Studios. We had FastPasses booked for Slinky Dog, Toy Story Mania and Fantasmic. By this time it was down to 12 degrees and freezing! We waited 3o minuted to ride Alien Swirling Saucers. A good ride but not worth the wait in our opinion. We then rode Slinky Dog for the first time which we loved, definitely worth a FastPass. We then went on Toy Story Mania before eating grilled cheese's at Woody's Lunchbox - delicious. At this point we were way too cold to be sitting around for Fantasmic so again decided to give this a miss and get a bus back to the resort. |

We love a Discovery Cove day, it is so relaxing. A perfect way to end the day with a delicious grilled cheese, the tomato soup is fantastic too. A great day
