I think like most of us my head is spinning with this
Part of me wishes someone would make the decision and say we cant go We have 17 days to cancel our points. We would lose just over £1000 from the flight if we were in a position that we cancelled and couldnt claim from insurance It wouldnt be the end of the world for us if we couldnt go and in all honesty I am not sure at this minute if I really want to go We would be a long way from our 22 year old DD and my parents in their seventies one of which is in an extremely high vunerable category Not going to make any decision for a while yet Edited at 08:07 AM. |

I’m going to call and cancel my DVC bookings today as only 34 days till travel. At least I won’t lose my points. Everything else will be covered by insurance so if needs be and if the flights still go I will just book a hotel for the nights we were due to stay DVC. I will lose my fast passes but that’s the least of my concerns. I wish I could just cancel the whole trip now!

We have borrowed a full year of points for May. I'm hoping that MS can do some shuffling with our October reservation and prevent us losing them all if we can't go. I still have 3 weeks to make a decision at least.

I’m sure they’ll use the borrowed points and let you bank the current years’ points even if they don’t allow you to bank the remaining borrowed.

Good luck in contacting them.
Our trip is imminent and the phone line is constantly busy, the chat line has a wait if over 100 minutes and kicks you out anyway! I understand they are busy and I’ve resigned myself that we have to cancel but so frustrating that I can’t make contact with one single company who make up the trip 😡😡😡 |

Absolutely no information or reference to Coronavirus on the DVC members website just now which imho is pretty poor! I appreciate these are extremely demanding times but a little information surely wouldn’t go amiss especially for those with imminent stays booked.
Tbh I’m pretty resigned to the fact that it’s gone and we’ve lost the points but some guidance or the ability to talk to MS would be appreciated. |

Started as number 234 with a wait of 461 minutes on chat.
An hour and ten minutes later I am now number 113 with 56 minutes Gave up trying to phone!
