Can UK Banks Notarize

Hi folks

We are on day 18 of the ROFR for 200 points at Boardwalk through resale. We are financing most of the contract using Monera. If all goes well we are being asked to get certain documents notarized.
Has anyone used a UK bank to do this?If so, is it straightforward enough?

Cheers

Barney

I'm in Scotland and used our local solicitor to have documents notarized when we sold our contract. Check the Law Society Scotland website for names of solicitors who can do this in your area. It was very easy to do and cost us £30 plus VAT

Who is the closing company for your transaction? If it is TRCS then you might check with Karina at TRCS as she might be able to help you out.

If in England you need a Notary Public. There’s a website with them all on. Edit seems OP is from Scotland suspect similar situation.
For anyone possibly confused by OPs post, you do not have to notarise anything to buy a resale contract but OP is buying with finance who may need documents notarising (essentially a mortgage I’d guess, with the DVC as collateral on the loan?)

Its the Mortgage with Monera that needs Notarised. You need to have a solicitor who is also a notary public to do it.
