It worked well For me but I do wonder if I got lucky. I’ve 2 owner friends who have also tried the same but not had any takers at all.

Interesting to read as I have just listed a 3 day stay at AKL for Thanksgiving on David's. There are so many on there!

I can't see how to reduce the price? Out of the 60 points reservation 54 will be lost end of November? When I cancelled the rest of the stay so I could bank the 2019 points they said I have until 17th Oct to put them in RCI? Not sure 60 points would be much use so probably be happy with a reduced rental cost? I still think David's take their cut though so probably won't leave much over? ☹

I hate FB, don't use it but my wife does. We had the points through David's but no bites so dropped the price. Not comfortable doing so as there are risks to the owner so looked at FB. Used that group posted up here, half our points sold within 2 hours, the rest are pending and hopefully sorted before the day is out.

We weighed up the risks and with our points expiring 30th November we took the hit and rented out at $11. Makes me spit but not much option other than RCI.

Did you rent as a confirmed reservation or just points? I'm wondering if I should cancel and try and rent the points out? 🤔☹ xx

Listing started as a 2 confirmed bookings but ended up cancelling one booking and making a new booking for August. Still got one confirmed booking going, just waiting for that renter to send me their details and hopefully that one will be gone too.

I’ve got a two night boardwalk reservation I need to rent out with distressed points. l’m concerned about selling it on some of the Facebook dvc groups as I’ve no legal contract for the renters to sign, I usually sell via David’s but he looks to be flooded with reservations

Typically the confirmed reservations in a studio rent out the best.

Thanks Jason. It is a studio (savannah view) at AKL Jambo House. I'm guessing your company don't get involved with renting dvc?
