Once again I want to say how awesome the dibb is! I’ve had points listed through David’s for ages but tried the Facebook link you guys posted on here - I had literally seven people wanting my points within minutes! (I was selling them cheap to be fair, but I was going to lose them by the end of November and £1200 in my pocket is better than no money for them at all!) - so grateful, thank you xx

That’s strange - I only joined today and it was almost immediate. Perhaps it didn’t register your request?

I always ask for the buyer to pay any paypal fees when advertising, so if it is commercial I think it's about 3%, you get more protection as a buyer so think it is worth it for the buyer.

I also request they ensure they pay in dollars - at the payment option stage in paypal the buyer sees something like:
you are paying $1000 to seller who will receive £800. If they accept this then paypal have a spread of about 3.5% on the market rate. However, receiving dollars is only beneficial if you have a linked US dollar account (added by phoning Paypal) or you can spend the dollars from your paypal account.

I advertised a reservation, but it quickly became clear that people wanted the points and for me to book them studios for this month. So I cancelled the reservation and booked individual reservations for each family 👍

Ok thanks so much! I have reapplied to join the Facebook group and will try! I had hoped a Thanksgiving reservation would be popular as nothing is available over it? Well wasn't when I last looked anyway! 🤷 obviously it's not normal times 😭

Shorter bookings seem to sell better. Anyone with a longer reservation could MS split it into smaller lots?

I’m in same boat. I rented points and now unable to travel. I’d def be happy for them to be resold for cheaper so I get something back rather than nothing 🙈
