If you want more unusual designs or colours, they are a lot cheaper. I paid $17 for a pair of converse (not the boots) in purple satin, and my son got a pair of stars and stripes boots for $20.

I was in Ross Dress For Less last night and they had adult converse for around the $20 mark and kids ones for around $15...always check the clearance section as last year my mum got a pair of grey ones reduced to $7!

Last night I bought a pair of Ralph Lauren canvas shoes reduced to $10...bargain!
