Mobile Wild Florida Park & Airboat Tour

Hi All

Has anyone had any experience of doing this park along with the Airboat ride?

Looking at doing this as part of a chill day and would be grateful of any comments on previous visits, also the best place to purchase the tickets (Orlando or U.K.)

✈️🇺🇸😆

we are going to go this year on our own and spend the day.

We went last year. Great place to spend half a day. Dd(14) did the sloth encounter and thoroughly enjoyed it. Didn't do the airboats as DS(5) was too scared of the noise. We got our entry tickets for free as we'd booked our universal and sea world tickets with florida tix. When i was looking for the sloth encounter on wild florida's own website, they were offering discounts if you booked entry and an encounter/airboat direct with them.

We booked directly with Wild Florida and did the airboat ride. Entry to the park was free alongside the airboat ticket. The set up was very impressive. Was a bit of a drive from our villa but well worth it - our son preferred it to the parks. We even saw a bald eagle out on the lake. Do go early though as in the heat of the day it becomes harder to see the gators on the lake as they head for deeper water to stay cool (that's what we were told at least)!

We visited there in 2015 and had a great time. It takes up about half a day. I loved the airboat ride and would recommend the hour one as 30 mins wouldn't be long enough. The kids really enjoyed feeding the alligators in the park and had a photo taken with a baby one.
I would also book the air boat ride for the morning as when we visited we were booked in for the afternoon so looked around the park then went for the air boat ride and there was a thunderstorm so we had to come back another day for the ride as unless the weather is fine it is too dangerous. They were very good and fitted us in around our plans but it was a shame we had to drive there twice.

Thanks all.

Looks like a good day as an alternative to a park. Will certainly look at an early Airboat ride as recommended above 👍🏻👍🏻
