Should I change our rest day to Independence Day?

Hi all, in short here is our current itinery for our weeks holiday

Wed 28th June arrive

Thursday 29th June magic kingdom

Fri 30th June Epcot

Sat 1st Jul typhoon lagoon

Sun 2nd July rest day

Mon 3rd July animal kingdom

Tuesday 4th July Independence Day Hollywood studios

Wed 5th fly home

After reading some past threads I'm thinking I should now do Hollywood studios on Sunday and have a rest day on the 4th, but... won't that be a bit of a lame ending to the holiday? Won't we be cramming too much in th efirst five days? Ohhhhhh man I'm confused,

Help meeee

rest days ? ?

i have said it before, and i will say it again

you rest on the plane when you travel to orlando, then you rest on the plane on the way home, thats it, rest days are your flight days

especially as you are only going for 1 week, enjoy the time, spend it doing fun things, not resting

We've not been able to go for independence day for years, but we've been there twice on independence day, one time we did all 4 parks starting at Epcot and finishing at MK so DH could get the pins, sadly MK had sold out. The fireworks were fantastic on independence day, not sure if things have changed now though x

We don't have a rest day in a 3 week holiday so definitely wouldn't on a weeks. I would consider your waterpark day as a rest day

DH and I went to magic kingdom last year and although it was busy we just went with the flow had my fast passes in place and enjoyed the atmosphere. Fantastic fireworks topped of a magical day.

We went Magic on Independence Day last year it was the most spectacular fireworks I have ever seen. PS I have seen Magic Fireworks a few times but this was something else but we got there early but it was baking hot.

if you need to fit in crazy golf / shopping, then i guess thats good

if you dont, i would fit in another park, yours typhoon lagoon day will be " restful " and you can squeeze shopping in after that

Completely agree with this apart from a handful of days a year. One being Independence Day. The parks are pretty full very early in the morning.
