Other characters - Frozen cruise

We're looking at Disney cruises for next year and the one that fits our dates is the 'frozen' themed cruise. We have two boys who aren't massively bothered about frozen. Are there other characters to meet? Do Mickey and Minnie appear on every cruise? It would be on the Disney magic

Frozen is just one day, with some Frozen themed activities, menu, and deck party.
The usual characters are always on the cruises, like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Pluto, various princesses, Chip n Dale, and others. Characters are available for meet and greets, at deck parties, in the stage shows, and they visit the kids' clubs.

sorry to go slightly off topic but are there certain characters only on specific ships?

Possibly? I haven't seen Star Wars characters, for example, on the Magic, which has no Star Wars theme area in the kids' clubs and isn't the Star Wars Day at Sea ship. Also can't recall seeing Tiana on the Magic, but you would certainly see her on the Wonder where she has a dining room.
