I did Boggy creek back in 2011. It was a good ride but we didn't see any alligators. The reception areas have apparently been done up since then too (it was pretty much just a room).

We are contemplating these both too as it was a birthday present for me. I may just use the cash and buy Horror night tickets instead

We went with Kissimee Swamp tours. It was great!
This place is not an amusement park. The boats are small so only our family of four. We not only saw lots of alligators but also turtles, Bald Eagles and lots of other unusual wildlife. We went last year and will be going again in August. Our friends went to Wild Florida and they enjoyed it. They have got nice photos of the kids holding baby Alligators but for us seeing them in their natural environment and not being tormented was better for us.

I'd recommend Spirit of the Swamp. They are a small family run company and in my opinion much better than the large commercial outfits we've been with in the past. Spirit of the Swamp have small boats, if you're a family of 4 or more you'll be on your own if not you may have to share. You are given head sets so the captain can tal to you and you to him.

If he or you spot anything he will trun around and head back to get a closer look. Last year we saw large pink snails, snail eating birds, bald eagles, cattle roaming wild, deer, a water snake and lots of gators (including a nest with young).

We're booked again to go in July, it's normally the highlight of our holiday.
