Universal refillable mugs

HI

We are staying offsite, and understand you cant get refillable mugs in Disney if offsite, but can you get them in Universal/IOA if you are not staying there?

If so how much are they?

you can get coke free style mugs which give you unlimited refills for $13/$14 on the day you buy the mug. You can then reactivate the mugs for $7 on other days and get the unlimited refills for those days.

Sorry to hijack thread but do you know if the coke freestyle machines still dispense water if you have paid for the cup? DD doesn't really drink fizzy stuff but dh will definitely want this. Thanks

Yes you can get water from the free style machines if you have the mug. The machines also dispense lots of still drinks in loads of flavours.

I thought you could buy the Disney mug if you were staying offsite, however as they can only be used at the resorts, it's totally pointless getting one if you're not staying on site.

The Universal mugs work out so expensive - epecially if you've got to pay $7 a day to re-activate - I can't drink enough to cover the cost so it would be a total waste of money for us!

Perfect thank you.

Do you have to pay to refill, such a $? or is it a oneoff payment of $13/$14 and then no further expense?

I thought water was no longer available from the coke freestyle machines? Is that only if you don't have the mug? It used to be you could use any cup to get water.

The freestyle mug is one payment then drinks are free all day.
You can't get water from the freestyle machines at least you couldn't last year.
We had a cup for our son who only drinks water we had to go to the kiosks or restaurants to get it filled with cold water.
