ADR trauma, right now, advice?

today is 180 until we stay 1 night at POR.

separate booking for OKW fllowing day, we have DDP for this.

i thought that the booking linked would allow me to book 10 days today, but its not, only showing the first day.

have i done something wrong?

Don't panic. You effectively have a split stay. As your one night at POR is one booking you can only do one day at 180 days.

Tomorrow you'll find your OKW with DDP opens up. So, tomorrow you'll be able to book 10 days' worth of dining.

Basically, every time you change resort, you're starting a new reservation. Hope that makes sense.

I guess my lack of punctuation showed my panic!

I did think that people booked 1 nights stay to get the advance booking perks, so was concerned when that didn't happen.

Another query then please.

My dd turns 10 whilst we are on holiday, so has an adult ticket.

However is showing as a child on DDP, which seems odd.

Is that right, as I though an adult park ticket meant adult DDP?

I'm not entirely sure in your case but on our MDE it still says 1 child and my youngest son is 13. I think it just says that because technically they are children on your party but still get the appropriate DDP.

Funnily enough, our invoice states 1 child and 2 adults - and our DD is 23!

I think there was at least one thread about this anomoly last year. Once on site, everyone had the correct plan.

The only 'advance' booking perk I can think of is being about to book FPs at 60 days instead of the offsite 30 days.

Oh, and you'll get Magic Bands 'free' rather than having to pay $19.99 each for them if you were staying offsite and wished to upgrade from the plastic cards.

Funnily enough in 2015 but dd was 8 but got adult DDP, other way round this year, but I'm sure will work out, based on others experiences.

Booking 2 hotels has been a bit of a pain, but done based on flight prices.

Only perk I can see to it is getting 2 sets of Magic Bands so we can mix n match them.
