Boat hire

Hello

I have only just discovered that Disney offer boat hire and like the sound of hiring one of the pontoon sun trackers/Boston whaler and I like the idea of canoeing/kayaking!

Anyone have any experience of doing either? Was it worth it?

I was also wondering if anyone knew if there was anywhere else in the area which can be non Disney that offer similar activities?

We are a couple late 20's

This gives you the options and sammy Duvall is not Disney but operates on the seven seas.
My boys are hiring sea raycers this year bit they do fancy the pwc tour from sammy duvalls.

Thanks for replying - that is the webpage I found out about the boats on! I was wondering if anyone had any personal experiences as I have read numerous trip reports and not done across it once!
I like the sound of the sea raycers too but I like the idea of sitting back and relaxing and letting the OH drive 😄

We did the 21ft pontoon from the Grand Floridian, we absolutely loved it. We had it for 30 minutes but the guy said don't rush back.
Make sure you take a drink as it gets hot out there and the leather seats get red hot 😊

Hired a Sun Tracker from the rental hut at Yacht Club in 2014. Only had it for 30 minutes but it was great sailing around past the Boardwalk, under the bridge to the Swan & Dolphin and all the way down to Hollywood Studios and back. Loved it so much we will be hiring another boat this year but this time we will do Seven Seas Lagoon.

We hired a Suntracker from the Grand Floridian last year, think it was $45 per half hour. It was sooooo relaxing, we ended up staying out for an hour.

We enjoyed it so much that we're planning on doing it again this year.

You can rent Boats out in places like Clearwater/Port Richey

Depending on size they cost around $150 up for 4 hrs plus fuel but fuel is cheap.
They come fully equiped all you need is to be over 25 and hold a full Driving licence under 25 you need a safe boater�s certificate
