How about South Beach, Boca Grande. Here's a webcam link Clickhere

Right now there's fishing tournament out in the pass (12:10 here, 07:10 Florida) they'll be gone in hour.

We'll be there in July, we've seen everything whilst sat there, Manatees, Dolphins, Tarpon, Pelicans.
The famous lighthouse is just behind you and plenty of parking.

I'll try to remember to wave in July

We almost always have Honeymoon Island to ourselves on a weekday. Weekends are generally busier for most beaches.

Good cafes and as it shares its space with a nature reserve, there are also some good walks and exhibitions

We visited these two years ago and were often the only family on the beach in July/August.

Another one of our favourites is Fort Desoto - there are often hardly any people on this beach - beautiful sandbank and the water is so warm to swim - our favourite of them all.

We went to Anna Maria in July and were surprised how quiet the beach was. We were at the northern end of the island.

This is Middle Beach just below Manasota Key in June:

This is South Beach on Gasparilla in June

Both have parking and are great to walk along.

Most of the beaches on the Cape Haze peninsular have stunning beaches.
Whilst the high season runs through the winter, the summer months are busy with Europeans but the beaches still won't be that busy.

July & August are the off season & at the bottom of low season on the Gulf coast with the lowest rental prices.

We visit at other times of year & the Americans we speak to advise they wouldn't visit at that time of year due to the temps & humidity hence the low numbers.

In September, Indian Shores & Pass a Grille are very quiet; I've got photos of beaches on weekdays with not another soul in sight; imagine July would be too.

Yep, Easter is the busy time on AMI. We plan on popping down this summer for a day. Spent 2 weeks there in 2015 and it was lovely.
