Can you have a ganders at my weeks itinery

Hi all, haven't been back to Orlando for a few years now and so am out of the loop so to speak, any hints or ideas of changes are welcome.

Wed 28th June:

Flight 0945 Lgw to sfo with Thomson, land 1400.
collect car, drive to LBV
Check in to Clarion inn lbv and unpack,
Drive to boardwalk and have a quick service dinner
Go to Epcot via international gateway for illuminations
(We want to try do illuminations on our first night as I don't think we would do a full day at Epcot and so will just get there for opening another day and leave in afternoon)

Thursday 29th June:

Early wake up due to jet lag, so off site breakfast
MK for rope drop
No fast passes booked yet due to 30 days.
Depending how we feel can either try and do all day or go back to hotel for and hour or 2
Dinner at 1700 at diamond horseshoe
Watch happily ever after and beeeedddd

Friday 30th June:

Breakfast offsite
Epcot for opening
Hoping for Soaring and test track fast passes then a walk around world showcase
San angel inn for lunch at 1340
Leave park
Rest and swim at hotel
Evening shopping or crazy golf and dinner.

Saturday 1st July

Breakfast off site
Typhoon lagoon for opening
Back to hotel for afternoon
Evening at Disney springs and dinner

Sunday 2nd July

Wake up whenever
Leisure day with no park!
Shopping, or whatever takes our fancy!
Dinner,
No real plans this day

Monday 3rd July

Breakfast off site,
Animal kingdom for rope drop
Not hopeful on getting avatar fp's
Lunch at 1330 at yak and yeti.
Stay all day or go back to hotel for a rest,
Return in eve for rivers of light

Tue 4th July (independence day! )

Mannnn today will be busy
Breakfast off site,
Hollywood studios for opening
Stay all day or head back to hotel
Dinner at 50s prime time cafe
Fantastic

Wed 5th July

Pack in quick time!
Check out and head to Disney springs to pick up last minute souvenirs
Flight home at 1600
Land 0500 and cry all day

I realised after I booked that its over Independence Day. Oops, it's going to be horrifically busy isn't it?

Any things I should change?

Friday 30th June - Epcot's fastpass tier system means you won't get a fastpass for both Soarin' and Test Track... one or the other I'm afraid!

Wow

Wow. I am just starting my planning for a holiday we are taking in October.
I am already feeling bogged down.. we went 7 years ago and didn't plan, I don't think we missed out, but this time we are only going for 10 days and we want to do Universal too . I think it must be a relief with a loose itinerary?
I hadn't realised how important it would be to book tables for dining so far in advance. I think this is what is stressing me out because it means I have to plan around eating?
Your plan looks busy but not bonkers 😃

You will probably be too tired to do illuminations on your first night

I'd swop the 2nd and 4th and I'd move Illuminations to the free day on the 4th instead of arrival day.
As it's a short trip you'll probably end up not wanting an entire down day so water park and shopping day would be enough. Shops will be open on the 4th anyway though.

I would agree that TL is a rest day so I don't think I would have another rest day the day after. I would do another park. I'd think I can rest at home and also I am not into shopping so I wouldn't want to spend long in the shops.

Whatever you decide to do hope you have an amazing holiday !
