Hiring a car
We have booked our holiday through Virgin and are now considering hiring a car for a few days so we can go to Universal a couple of times and a Mall.
Virgin have quoted us under £200 for 4 days Or £145 for 3 days fully insured with a tank of gas and a sat nav? And I'm just wondering if that is average? Expensive? A bargain etc Thanks in advance |

Why don't you go on holiday autos or Alamo brits and price up separately. I can't see you using a full tank of fuel for 3/4 days on the journeys you plan and you can get free sat nav apps on your phone to cut the cost down a bit more .
Edited to say it may help if you put your dates and the type if car you are looking at. Edited at 08:49 AM. |

Seems expensive to me, Go direct to the USA website for the hire companies or use Alamo Brits like has been suggested.

You haven't given the dates that you are away so nobody can help you by doing dummy bookings on car rental sites. Usually it is cheaper not to hire through Virgin.

Hi,
Try Andy from Discount Florida Car Hire, if you do a search in the car rental section of the web site you will find him. I have used him twice good price and first class service, he always gets good reviews. |

You could Uber everywhere for a fraction of that cost.
