That cake looks divine!

Ollie is a brave boy, so glad to hear he is doing well! We lost our Woody last year to a blood clot in his legs, (he was overweight, nothing like Ollie) it was awful as in every other way he was totally fine. He was nowhere near as placid as Ollie when his legs went, totally frantic. The first time it happened they gave him a jag at the vets and he sprang back to life, they said they couldn't believe it and it was a miracle. Then 4 months later it happened again whilst we were on holiday. The jag worked again but he wasn't himself when he came home, stayed underneath a bed and wouldn't come out for anyone or anything. Then my boyfriend came to see him and as soon as he called him he got up and came out. We had to let him go the next day. I like to think he hung on those few days for us. We miss him lots, he was a real character. So greedy, he was big and white, we always joke he has been reincarnated as a seagull. Sorry, crazy cat lady side is showing!

Woody sounds like a lovely boy, from one crazy cat lady to another . It's the hardest thing letting them go, it broke our hearts taking Stitchy a few weeks ago, but their memories live on 😻 x

This made me smile, I called my Stitch (amongst a million other names) Stitchy too He was black and white too, maybe they'll be friends, my boy was fond of all cats other than his own brothers and sisters.

Our Stitchy wasn't keen on her brothers either, kindred spirits by the sounds of it 💓 x

Sorry to hear about your cat, I'm glad he recovered. Even with the rain and then the tornado warning, you still had a good day, ending with some delicious chocolate cake and cocktails.

Thanks, I thinm Ollie was punishing us for abandoning him . The tornado warning was pretty scary, but we still enjoyed ourselves x

Glad Ollie was OK in the end. They do wind their little paws round your heart, don't they!

BLT looks great and what a view!
