Hand held misting fan/water fan - hand operated, not battery?
Can you buy these easily over in Florida? I have been looking online here in the UK to buy before we go and all the fans seem to be battery operated. I don't want to be faffing on with batteries running out, so would prefer hand cranked/operated fans.
I haven't managed to find any online in the UK at all - so wondered if I could get them out there? |

I would say however that the batteries em to last for ages... I still got some in one of mine I bought two years ago and they are still going strong

Maybe we've been unlucky but we've bought a few in the past (just fans, not misting ones) - Boots & M&S and cheaper ones from the likes of Asda and they all seem to run out of batteries quickly, certainly before the holiday is over and we've had to replace them
We are not hiring a car until part way through the holiday - we are doing a Publix grocery run on our way from the airport with our transport. Might I find them in there? |

The misting fans that you can buy in most shops in Orlando are great. A decent size and far cheaper than UK. They can also be bought in the parks but are far more expensive. We couldn't imagine a holiday without one quite honestly.

i bought a small battery-operated one in poundland last month (they are still there), I've tried it out and even if the batteries don't last, it will do us to start off with. It works really well - the fan instantly cools the water mist around your face and neck .
