Dining plan

First timer to DLP and on this side of The Dibb...

Booked 3 nights at Sequoia Lodge 18 November...

Is it worth buying a dining package?

Or where would people suggest we eat?

Typically looking for light breakfast like cereal muffin tea etc..

One main meal and possibly a snack or two ...

Thoughts very gratefully received.

I always price up where we want to eat, then compare the cost of paying OOP to getting the dining plan (and possibly topping up / paying OOP for restaurants not on the plan.) Sometimes it works out better value to get a dining plan, and sometimes it’s better to pay OOP.

I’d guess that if you only want a light breakfast, and you’d need pay OOP for snacks anyway, it might be cheaper to pay for your main meal OOP too, especially if you want to eat at different level restaurants. It does depend on where you’d like to eat though. Have you had a look at the restaurants to see which ones you’d like to try?
