Mobile VIP Fastpass in October

Is it worth it? It’s my 40th birthday next year and we are booking the weekend in DLP. We are first timers and don’t know what crowd levels will be like on an October weekend (not over half term) so wondering whether to buy VIP Fastpass for the Saturday or just think sod it and book a suite to get VIP Fastpass for the whole weekend...it’s a pricey option but one day Fastpass works out at £500 for our family anyway.

I’m waffling on a bit, but my question for those who visit in October is whether Fastpass is worth it for the whole trip or just for one day?

Personally I don't think paid fast pass is worth it at DLP unless you only have one day and you aren't coming back anytime soon.

Staying onsite will give you extra magic time where you can get many of the headliners such as Peter Pan, Space Mountain and Star Tours done with little wait times. Then make use of the free fast pass for the others.

Weekends are busy at DLP so there will be crowds, but a bit of planning will save you £500. Also bear in mind there aren't that many rides that have fast pass, the likes of Crush and Pirates don't have FP available.

Thank you for the advice - I assumed everything would be FP and having only been to WDW thought it might be a must-do. Maybe on reflection with 4 days we wouldn’t need to bother.
