Mobile To the Louvre

Hello, I'm heading out for my first trip on the 1st December and we want to visit the Louvre museum but have head a few people say not to trust taxis, is this the case? We'll be getting the train and hoping to see Eiffel Tower and Louvre on the Wednesday 4tg but just need advice on how best to do this? Not wanting to go up the tower just a quick stop and stare lol Thanks for your help

get the rer train from marne le valley to Charles de Gaule -Eitoile (arc de triumph) station

walk down the champs elysee to the louvre

you can see the tower on route

train takes @35 mins so wouldnt like to think how much/how long a taxi would be

Thank you for your help! She's only worried that if it's a long walk her back might be aching before we even start walking round the Louvre, not to mention it being a bit cold for a long walk lol But we could maybe get train to museum and then walk back that way so we still get the experience

I think there are closer metro stops.

Metro: Palais-Royal Musée du Louvre (lines 1 and 7) and Pyramides (line 14)
