Blizzard Beach | Typhoon Lagoon Seasonal Closures

Hi

Does anyone know when we will find out which water park out of Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon with be closing near the end of the year and which dates?

We go 20th of September to 3rd of October and understand that they closed one of these a lot earlier than normal last year.

I've tried to have a look online but I can't see anything at the moment.
We are going to be visiting Volcano Bay too, so we will still have 2 water parks to visit. But I was just wondering if anyone knew?

It was Blizzard beach this year so not sure if that maybe means Typhoon Lagoon has their turn next?

You should find both parks open then. They only closed BB early last year to install new lighting.

Thank you very much! We last went in 2015 and remember both parks being open during our visit so did wonder why the closure was so early in 2019 😀

OK so Blizzard Beach is closing on the 13th September 2020 for the winter refurb. Again it is earlier than I expected.

Hey! I can't find anywhere online that it says its shutting on the 13th?! have you got the link please?! Ill be so gutted if its true we had planned to go on our trip :o :'( (obviously will be over the moon with typhoon lagoon but we've never done BB!)

The park hours for BB in September only go up to the 12th. That is how we know when it closes each year.

The dates changed twice last year so don't think this is set in stone. I will update members if it changes.
