Apologies if I'm wrong but previous experience of getting dirty blankets that were wrapped, being told this when complaining on the plane by cabin crew (not TC) and I knew a lot of Thomas Cook cabin crew who also told me this was standard practice.

To be fair I've probably not touched an airplane blanket for 10 years, the current procedure may be different. Still puts me off.
