Wednesday 21st August.
After a lie in DD had some peanut butter wrap and a banana in the room. We had cereal bars then shared some grapes by the pool. We took bottles of coke and sprite to the quiet pool as we couldn't be bothered to walk to fill the refill cups up.

For lunch we went to Wolfgang Puck Express again. DD had chicken tenders again and I had the meatloaf. We ordered extra sides of mash and onion strings and a coke and lemonade as the drinks with the meals. DH had some of the fries, salad and onion strings. The waitress gave us refill drinks in cups to take with us.

4 bags of Mountain Mix were purchased in World of Disney.

4 snack credits used

DH then ordered Beef Brisket and Waffle fries at the Polite Pig. He really enjoyed this and would definitely pay for it. I tried a bit and it was nice but the brisket seemed very fatty. We got a bottle of Dasani for DD as the drink.

1 QS used

I had hoped I might have room for a kids chicken tenders from Chicken Guy too but I was full so may try this later or pay once we're offsite.

We were going to go to Magic Kingdom this evening but DD wasn't feeling well so we ended up staying onsite. DH and I left DD at the room whilst we got some food to share.

The pasta didn't seem quite as nice today. I think the Marinara sauce seemed spicier and not as fresh as before.

We had a cupcake. I'm pretty sure the lady the other day said it was Strawberry as she had just sold the last one. We both enjoyed this.

We put this all through as 2 QS credits.

TOTAL
5 QS USED 16 QS REMAINING
6 SNACKS USED 27 SNACKS REMAINING

I think we might have a lot of credits to spend on Friday! 😂

Some tasty looking burgers so far. Lotus Blossom doesn't come up too often in food reports. It looked pretty good though so I might add that to my list for next year!

Wait... What? You can get extra onion strings for a snack credit at Wolfgang Puck? How did I not know this? Life changing info!

We also got married at Cypress Grove so I am making a note to get some Publix vanilla cake when I next get the opportunity!

Really enjoying your report, it was lovely to see you enjoying so much time at CSR as we’re staying there in October, the food court looks fantastic. Polite Pig and Wolfgang Puck Express look especially good, I’ve always wanted to try that meatloaf.

Thursday 22nd August

After missing out on MK the night before we got up early and decided to go to MK for the morning. We were there for 8.15 so we could have a quick wander before the rides opened.
We rode Splash and then DH went to Sleepy Hollow to get the Nutella Waffle. He thought this was good although he struggled to eat it all.

We got 1 bottle of Dasani with this.

1 QS used

I ate some grapes and had a drink that I'd brought from the room and I think dd might have had a packet of Lays.

By the time DH had come back with his waffle I'd decided that I should have got something too. We rode Haunted Mansion then went back to Sleepy Hollow where I got this...

I really liked this, not sure I needed all the topping as it did make it go a bit soggy.
When we looked at the menu I couldn't remember seeing the snack logo by the funnel cake with strawberries and cream. As we weren't sure if it was like the Waffle and would be a QS I ordered an orange juice but it actually went through as 2 snacks.

2 snack credits used

After a few more rides we went to Cosmic Ray's and ordered the same food as we had the last time and DH had a coke. This time it went through correctly as 1 QS and 1 snack.

We left MK after lunch as we had to collect our car from the Disney car centre. After a brief trip back to the hotel we got the bus to Animal Kingdom.

First stop for food was Yak and Yeti where I had the Honey chicken, DH had teriyaki beef and DD had the snack size Chicken fried rice.
DH said his was really nice and DD enjoyed her rice. Mine was ok but a bit dry and boring. I'm sure I've had it before and there was more sauce.

Later we weren't really feeling too hungry but DH wanted another beer so went to Pizzafari where we ordered a cheese pizza and a beer and a side of Garlic Knots. The pizza was hot and fresh and the Garlic knots came with marinara sauce and were good. As DH didn't want salad with the pizza they gave him 2 cookies.

2 QS credits used
1 snack credit used

We would have liked to try a few more bits like onion rings but we just couldn't eat anymore at the time so will have to pay another day.

Once back at the room DH and I went for a walk. We decided we were a bit hungry so got a plain burger and fries for us all to share in the room and a milk for DD's breakfast. 😂

TOTAL USED
6 QS CREDITS USED
5 SNACK CREDITS USED

Yes it's not on the menu but dd wanted extra so we just asked. We've had then before too although I think there was a misunderstanding last time, they brought us some tortilla chips out instead and we had to then ask about the onion strings. It was funny as we thought the tortilla chips were complimentary and had eaten them! 😂

We're hoping we may make it up to Cypress Grove at some point this trip as it's been years since we last went. Who did your service? We had Doris for ours.

Friday 23rd August
This was check out day before moving on to a villa.
DH and I went to El Mercado at about 8.30. It was busy. We got a Gran fiesta breakfast with extra ham rather than bacon or sausage. I got a croissant to go. DH sat and ate and we put some ham and egg in a bowl to take back for DD. We also took a spare bowl for her cereal.

1 QS used

After a final trip to the quiet pool DH loaded the car up and we drove round to El Mercado to spend a few credits. Check out was 11 but we had to wait till 11.30 for them to start serving. We had a quick look in the grab n go but they didn't have what we wanted. We also went in the shop and got some more of these...

2 snack credits used

We saw this and thought of the Dibb!😂

DD decided she was hungry so we ended up ordering her a burger and fries to eat in the car. I took an apple juice for later.

1 QS used

Then it was a few bits for the villa.
There were no grapes or strawberries out when we got there but I asked and they did some.

I think this is some kind of chocolate brownie with white chocolate and raspberry...

2 QS credits used

Once we'd been to the villa and unpacked we went to Hollywood Studios. We headed to Toy Story land and ordered Totchos for DH, Grilled three cheese sandwich with Tomato-basil soup for me and extra Potato barrels for DD. We thought the barrels would go through as a snack but it all seemed to go through as 2 QS credits.

We all really enjoyed this although DD and I weren't too bothered by the soup. Not sure we'd eat there again though as it's so exposed even with the sun umbrellas. I just don't understand the whole Toy Story land area having no shade and don't understand how anyone can queue for slinky or the characters in the heat. It would have been so much better if they had covered areas over in some way.

After riding Slinky in the heat I felt a bit ill so not the best start. We went on Toy Story Mania and I got 2 more bags of sweets in the shop on the way out.

2 snack credits used

DH got a churro as we left Toy Story land.

1 snack credit used.
As I still didn't feel great and it was so hot DD and I decided to skip our fastpasses for Tower of Terror and Rock n Rollercoaster (I don't ride R n R anyway) and go to the Frozen show whilst DH did the rides.

After the Frozen show we sat in Backlot Express waiting for DH. We didn't eat but I did take some pics of the menu.

We were all feeling a bit hot and bothered and decided to head out of the park spending some of our credits on the way.

I had a sugar funnel cake. Not as crunchy as the other day but still yummy!

DD decided she wanted one too but she doesn't eat sugar and didn't want ice cream so we asked for it plain. Hers was crispier.

I then got 2 more bags of these...

2 snack credits used

We couldn't decide where to go next but still had quite a lot of credits to use. DD didn't fancy Epcot and to be honest I think everyone could easily have gone to the villa but I wanted to spend our credits. We probably should have headed for a resort but I thought we'd have more chance of spending them at Disney Springs.

Disney Springs was so busy. We thought about getting Blaze but ended up going to Chicken Guy

The queue was crazy but once we were in it we didn't want to leave to go elsewhere and thought it must be worth it. We must have waited at least 45 minutes.

The food was ok but nothing special and we definitely wouldn't queue again.

We wandered down to Goofy's candy in the hope we could just spend the credits and be done. I wanted more of the toy story sweets but they didn't have any strawberry or apple belts left and we didn't really want anything else. I would have got some more cakes or cookies but the queue at the counter was so busy. We ended up with 1 bag if pretzels that DD wanted to try and then headed back to World of Disney to see what they had.

1 snack credit used

Managed to pick some bits up in World of Disney but couldn't swap QS credit in there. We got these...

12 snack credits used

As we walked back towards the garage I realised I could go back to Goofy's candy across the bridge. I left DD and DH sat down and rushed in and swapped our final 2 QS credits for these.

2 QS credits used

Finally we were done. We really should have spent more throughout the week but we just weren't hungry. Didn't help that DD was ill then DH and I felt a bit ill on the last day and DD doesn't like any sweets! I don't know how people spend them all on meals.

We're now offsite so will do a few updates with shop spends and what we eat in the villa and out.
