Minimum is 5.6 weeks which can include the bank holidays or not.
I get 32 days plus the bank holidays and the 3 days between Christmas and new year

I think that this will vary wildly and especially between private sector and public.
I work for a large IT Services company and I get 25 days + all bank holidays - in addition, I can buy up to 10 more leave days. Some people on older and TUPE’d contracts are on 30 days. When I worked (briefly) in the public sector, holiday allowance went up with years service, flex time ruled and people literally got up and walked out, mid meeting, at 5pm... In the private sector, above a certain level TOIL and overtime are not common as its expected that you manage your time and give and take. I am very lucky, I work from home, don’t time sheet and take time during the day as needed...but sometimes I will start early for calls with Asia and occasionally run an 8pm meeting with the US and Australia. |

I get 7 weeks but I work 4 days on 4 off so a weeks holiday actually gives me 12 days off
,2 wks off gives 20 days and so on 👍 |

29 days plus 8 bank hol and I can buy up to 5 per year. I would be put off taking a job if the leave entitlement was low.

I get 30 days plus bank holidays, with the option to buy an extra 5 , or sell 5. Both of which I haven’t done. I wouldn’t sell my hols and my dh doesn’t get as many, so wouldn’t buy them either.

32 days plus 8 bank holidays; they usually give us 1 freebie day each year depending on when Christmas falls where it doesn’t make sense to open up the building that day for a handful of staff; I also earn 10-12 more days through TOIL each year.
I could still do with more 😃 Edited at 11:42 PM. |
