Disappointed
Ok, so I think I may be a little dramatic about this but, I am really disappointed. I bought and paid in full for all our tickets from Florida tix as they were £40 cheaper than anywhere else. I then researched about whether you get real tickets or not (upon re-reading this it was not upfront about it). I was so excited and today recieved the 'tickets' in the post. They were not real tickets at all, instead they were print out a4 sheets that say 'e-tickets'. I just wanted to let out my disappointment really as after spending over £2k on tickets I expected real tickets. Has any one else found this?

Don’t you exchange them at Disney for ‘real’ ones?
I bought 2 days ones in 2019 and exchanged them at Disney Springs for tickets that looked like a Bank card.

taken there website
If you’ve opted to receive a ticket by post when booking, we’ll send you a gate-ready, paper ticket. In most cases, these will be our own specially designed FloridaTix tickets but for some of the main parks, such as Disney, Universal and Seaworld, you’ll get tickets provided by the actual park. If you’ve selected to receive an e-ticket, all you have to do is print out the email we’ll send you and present it on the day of your visit. |

oh, gutted. I've bought Disney Magics (deposit only) from Florida Tix
Could have saved £4 for email delivery which I turned down thinking I'd get "real" tickets. I guess I'll just get the same paper things Reading it further, It doens't look like they have real tickets anymore? If so it was never going to be so I guess not so disappointed |

"All Disney Magic Tickets are now e-tickets"
I'm glad I've got old magicbands and cards that I'll use (once linked). I'll probably get round to doing the phone proximity thing but not relying on it for the first day excitement |

Oh I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Tbh I probably will purchase magic bands when we arrive anyway but I thought that by having the tickets delivered that it would mean actual tickets. Instead I got a envelope with a4 printouts inside. I even got excited telling DD they were arriving and now she doesnt get why I was excited!

I have no idea if you can exchange them when there.. if this is an option that would make me feel a bit happier. I wanted to keep the tickets for forever!

Yes I looked into this same thing earlier this week when looking for tickets.
I was unsure who had real tickets or not as some companies made it quite confusing, so to clarify I emailed both Floridatix and OAT as they were coming up with the cheapest prices for me. Both companies said that Disney were gate ready E-tickets that you could exchange at the gate or just add to the Disney app to use immediately. The Universal tickets were real tickets for both companies. So I just went with the cheapest which was OAT for me x |

There must be an option for guests without a smart phone or magic band. I'm sure you can get a proper ticket over there

Even if you buy tickets from Disney you won't receive "real" tickets. You'll get e-tickets that you link to your Disney account. Disney doesn't send out any tickets any more.
You can go to the Will Call desks outside the parks, show them your e-tickets (confirmation invoice / Will Call voucher) and pick up plastic cards to use as tickets if you want - same as when booking with Disney.
