Yes we stayed at the Heathrow one just over two weeks ago, not club level though.

Presume you mean LHR rather than LGW Sofitel? Give them a call to check if Club Millesime is open yet as when we stayed in September it wasn't (although the hotel had only recently re-opened to general bookings) but we still had basic drinks and canapes in TEA 5 (lounge area next to bar) and we weren't impressed as we were a party of 4 and only given one plate of food whilst single people or couples got one each and drinks were basic (they wouldn't give give my wife Prosecco just regular wine); we felt very awkward like as if they were doing us a favour so didn't ask for another plate of food and after 10 min we went back to the room and ordered room service. After paying £479 for a suite (less tcb) and not having the Club Millesime open or the spa open (suite guests get complimentary spa access) we felt a bit short changed. We left very early in the morning so no chance to partake in breakfast which we were told was still served in Vivre restaurant (so would have been full breakfast).

We would definitely stay in a club room or suite again as normally it would be good value but only if the proper club lounge is open.

Just calculate whether it's worth the extra cost depending on your flight time and how much you value the canapes or evening drinks. I think it's usually reasonable value if the club lounge is back to normal.

We are also booked to stay club in December… may cancel and downgrade the hotel to the premier inn as the spa is closed. Undecided at the moment!

I've not heard back from them and couldn't be bothered to wait for the phone to be answered. Others have said that the lounge is being used as a testing centre so not actually open and they're just giving people a glass of wine and breakfast in the main dining room.
