100%, a very well and detailed post. Spot on the money. We need more people like you. Even I've learned a few things from your post. Thank you.

Tink I believe this is the only one of your points I disagree with. The federal government have complete jurisdiction to implement any requirements they feel like for entry into the USA. PCR on landing is one that isn’t and probably won’t be…but they certainly could if they wanted.

The one thing I don't think the US will require is a period of isolation after landing, or if they do there is zero chance of it being monitored.
I am in Florida now though and having a blast. Haven't watched any news so just keep updated on here but it feels exactly the same as it did in Feb 2020 Not doing Disney though! Hope your family managed to book something SB |

But you made the choice to go on a holiday during a pandemic, knowing things can change at any minute. The company supplied you with the product you ordered, its not their fault you don't need it anymore.
And of course they are going to think of profit. They have employees and expenses to pay! |

Excited about Disney

It does feel like having almost reached the end of the snakes and ladders board we're a roll of the dice away from landing on a big old anaconda that'll send us right back to the start again.
Its a gut punch, but not quite the knockout blow, so we can only watch and see how this plays out. Hopefully measures are proportionate to the threat and not too reactionary. Early evidence suggests its a less severe variant so that could be a positive. |

Im bottling it and bringing my Dec 24th booking to next Monday. I’m lucky and staying with a friend so dates can be changed at will ( plus Im retired so no concerns in this country )
