Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort Fees?

I keep seeing posts about resort fees and had a quick Google.

Do we have to pay resort fees? I booked via Virgin and see no mention of them but Google suggests they have resort fees.

I am booked with Virgin Holidays and my invoice states
‘A resort fee of $7.95 per day has been waived for Virgin Holidays customers’. Plus complimentary self parking.

Virgin tend to include the fees in their costs in my experience
We stayed at Regal Oaks with them on our last trip & everything was included
