Do you think this hotel will be open by August 2022

Does anyone know the best way to try and secure a booking?

No idea how the booking process is going to work yet, since it's such a small hotel. There might be some kind of waitlist system due to the expected demand, but it could just be like the other resort bookings and be first come, first serve. Be online right when bookings open is the only real advice I can give you, I expect them to go very quickly.

I'm pretty sure the original launch said spring/summer 2022 so I would assume it would be open by August since this is already at the end of the US summer season but the site now only says 2022 so who knows. If I was to guess, I'd say they're aiming for a May opening to tie into SW day.

Walt Disney World Resort will debut the immersive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel and experience on March 1.

General bookings will open on Oct. 28 for the two-night themed stays that include dining experiences and a visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the Star Wars-themed land at Disney's Hollywood Studios park.

Does anyone know if you will be able to visit the hotel (for pictures and a general nosey about!) without having a reservation? I know you can normally visit any of the Disney hotels but as this seems to be more than just a hotel, I wasn't sure.

Another point that I don't think there will be any 'good' long distance pictures.

The entrance will be themed, but the rest of the building will be standard and will be hidden from view by trees etc.

This is to give the illusion that you are in fact boarding a ship for the length of the stay with the only 'day light' that you will see within that time is the planned excursion to Batu via some sort of transportation from the ship to the park.
