I really struggle with cable knitting, I just can't seem to hold the needles properly

I have no been making myself a cardigan since last April. The only thing left to do is to sew one up side of the band, knit the other, with button holes, attach that, sew on some buttons and that is it finished. Somehow I have lost interest. 🙁

Your blanket looks superb. I don’t think I would have the patience.

I have started to knit a baby blanket for her whoever has next baby.

I did know how to crochet many moons ago in school and I do want to learn how to do a granny square

I admire you all who can knit or crochet….I can’t for toffee….but my 84 year old mum knits cardigans and jumpers for my granddaughter….like they are going out of fashion.

I am knitting a Barbar the Elephant jumper for my daughter. I started it when she was about 15 months old, she’s 31 now. 🙄
Don’t think it will fit her and knitting is not my thing.
Anyone who starts and completes a pice of knitting or the like has my upmost admiration!
