I don't fancy any of the Upper mains but I'm a bit fussy so will happily let them ply me with gin and mini pretzels for 9 hours I'd be happy with the Thai Green Curry from econ if they have any spare but ideally I'd have loved to have the steak...maybe it'll make a return. DH will eat them all! I'm hoping preorder comes back so I can decide if we should order the kids (11 and will be 15) kids meals, the youngest won't touch anything anyway but DD may have preferred an adults meal but she wouldn't eat any of those offerings either. Did I imagine it or could you previously order a fruit plate? They'd both prefer that and I can pick something up at the airport too.

Yes, the fruit platter is the only option my son will touch - usually ok but one flight all he was served was pineapple. We thought it was a joke when each pot on the tray was filled with pineapple ... but then more came for the afternoon snack!

I updated on another thread re. the menu.but thought I'd put it here too in case anyone misses it.
I just had the dessert and the cheese but was offered anything from Econ or PE. I had the chicken burger with a scone later in the flight. After eating in the Clubhouse I found I'd had more than enough, TBH this evening was the first time I ate since landing yesterday so over 24 hours Jill Edited at 04:32 AM. |

I opted for this on our last visit as didn’t like the look of meals, however, 3 bowls of melon and the mankiest banana they found served for both meals truly put me off. I was naive to think they only served it as the main meal but the tea time selection would be scones.

So was there any option other than the chicken pasta or green veg curry on economy?
