Vero Beach restaurants

Hi, staying at Vero for the first time in January, we are there for two and a half days with friends from DC, any recommendations for good food, they like seafood?

The restaurant within Vero looks very good.

See here towards the end. They also go to some other restaurants if you watch their Vlog series on Vero.

We’ve been to Ocean Grille twice, it’s fab, you can see their menu online. We just showed up and waited for a table, they will seat you at the bar for a drink whilst you wait.

We mainly ate offsite when we were there, you need a car to do so as VB isn't in walking distance to anywhere.

Not been for a few years so I can't remember where we ate, but there were the big chains within 20-30 minute drive and some nice local restaurants, sadly I've no idea if they're still there, but definately worth exploring if you can.

Mulligans is still there , we’ve not had a bad meal in Vero Beach itself. Plenty of beachside places to eat decent food as well as chains (not on the beach)

Under normal circumstances January can be busy with the increase in visitors, this due to the snowbirds!

Covid obviously changed that but now that fully vaccinated Canadians are allowed to drive across the U.S. then visitors numbers could well get back to normal.

Also with Americans eating out even more and along with some restaurants finding it difficult to recruit, this might result in not being able to just turn up and expect a table right away or even that day or week.

Therefore to save time I suggest you try and make at least one reservation and as soon as you can.

This might be a helpful read veronews/2021/10/07/islan..ing-season/ along with past articles; also its worth keeping an eye open for any future dining articles and for any local calendar of events such as at; vb32963online/MENU%20ITEM..._calendar.html

Happy planning!

Apparently they are all back and it’s packed even now.

Mulligan's on the beach front is always good.
For breakfast we love TooJays Deli. It's not on the beach front but over near the shopping malls.

That’s interesting and thank you.
We booked the actual restaurant at Vero for the first night and will try and book somewhere else the next. May try and see Carousel then!
