Getting water

Random one!
Just thinking how we are going to get water as I drink a lot of it and it’s extortionate on-site
We will be getting an Uber from the airport and staying just outside Disney springs
Looking at the map we don’t seem to be near a supermarket
What do you do if you don’t have a car?

Every QS that has fountain drinks will give you free water. Just ask for it.

Yeah I always do that in the parks
Just thinking for the room and in the morning on the way to the parks
Suppose I could drink tap water

Pack a water bottle, fill it on the way to the bus.

You can also buy a case of water at the resort. Obviously more expensive than Walmart, but cheaper than paying $4 a bottle for it. This is assuming you're not planning to Uber offsite at all.

ETA: Just noticed you said DS area hotel, but this should still be an option there. But depending how far outside DS, you might be fairly close to a convenience store.

Perhaps find out about the closest supermarket to your hotel and get an Uber/Lyft there and maybe stock up on snacks at the same time. Where are you staying near Disney Springs?

You won't want to drink the tap water as it is very highly chlorinated and doesn't taste nice at all.

Are you near a CVS Walgreens or Dollar Tree
They all sell water and you can get a case in them or huge bottles

The transfer from the airport which we are booking offers a 30 min stop at Publix on the way to your resort.

If you’re staying near Disney Springs, there is a Walgreens close. As Gryff says they’ll give you a huge pack of water for the cost of a couple in the parks. Worth a small Uber cost for sure.

I would get an Uber to the nearest Walmart, and stock up. The Walmart might cost but you would still save money. Or, you could get a refillable bottle, and there are refill stations dotted around the parks, take some Robinsons squash’d (or other brands) to flavour if you like. I’ll be doing that next year as cut out fizzys.
