So this has been the will I write it, won't I write it trip report! 11 months down the line I've decided that 'I will' because I want to write this and my New England road trip report before I do this summer's Florida report. So here goes!

Fabulous trippie Claire, thank you for taking the time to write it.

We are off to NYC next year as part of our 25th wedding anniversary trip. We have a 9 day cruise that leaves from Cape Liberty and then 5 days in NYC. I last went in 1982, when I was 9 yrs old, so am looking forward to returning. DH & DS have never been, so I am stalking as many NYC trippies as I can, to get some good ideas 😉😉😉

I love that you went to Coney Island, as I really want to go there too. Have always wanted to go there, so hopefully we will get the chance next year.

I would recommend the HOHO bus but I would only do a 24/48 hour ticket. We felt we wasted too much time doing the same routes using it as a means of transport rather than just sightseeing.

Wow it sounds as though you have a great trip planned! I'd really recommend Coney Island. It was a highlight of our trip. However, the fabulous weather helped, I'm sure I might feel differently if it was grey and miserable!
