New router - advice sought.

Can anyone recommend a good router to use instead of the Virgin 3 hub?
More and more I’m finding I’m getting connection issues recently, I’ve rebooted (not factory reset) many times, usually once a week.
I’m a buy good buy once person but mindful that it would be easy to buy something that’s possibly not suitable, either under or over spec. I’d sooner over spec.
Max connections @ any one time would be 3 phones (browsing), 2 TVs watching 4K Netflix, Laptop working from home.
On 100mbps.
I’m looking for very good security and speed.

Can’t really help as you have virgin.
We have Bt complete WiFi 300mg with three WiFi discs around the house. Best mesh connection we have had with the Bt hub but to buy them is expensive

so its just issues with wifi youre having rather than devices connected via cable? i'd be looking at a mesh system instead and just turning the wifi off on the router

i have two of these (one at each end of the house) and it works perfectly

amazon/TP-Link-Gig...f_=as_li_ss_tl

i had google home wifi before then, and it was great and really easy to set up, but one died after a couple of months, and after doing a reset, i had to set it all up again from scratch rather than just export the config to my cloud account, and then re-import it after resetting. i ended up sending them back and getting the TP link units instead
