Booking a flight. Date to book?

I have a Flydrive with VH booked but curious about what the BA price will be. I know they say never look once booked but can’t help myself

If my return flight is August 27th 2022 am I right that BA prices will be available Monday 6th September 2021?

Ps is it 00.01 am they are actually released?

While I can’t answer your question (and you probably know this anyway) I believe the first few days of flights being released has them priced extremely high until lower fare buckets become available shortly after

Oh really? I always thought that all tiers were released together and got more expensive as the availability went down. Thanks for the hint though, I'll book after they've been out for a few days then!

For Virgin that’s generally true. For BA it isn’t, often it’s the best time to book
