Family PC

Can a family live without a PC, I have 1 at Uni 1 at school they use it to print, DS uses it for E-tickets, DH uses it for online banking.
I am sick of looking at it now and want it gone from my lounge.
DH will get a new lap top, all family members have laptops do could link up to a printer.
I have a set up for WFH in another room and cannot be used for any personal use.
Opinions gratefully received

Yes, if the only need is for printing then you can either
1. Have them plug in the printer to their laptops when needs be
2. Get a wireless printer, that would work with laptops, phones and tablets

If you have laptops then why do you need a PC?

We use a wireless printer but sometimes we plug the printer into the laptop as it can be temperamental.

A laptop is exactly the same as a desktop. It’s just a different shape. So anything you can do on one you can do one the other.

The only difference being done very thin laptops don’t have as many places to plug things like printers in. But you can buy a wireless printer very cheaply these days.

It depends on what you want to do. For general browsing and writing letters then yes a laptop will do but as soon as you start to do work that requires heavy use of graphics, including using multiple displays and storage a PC is miles better value for money. Most laptops would struggle to get more than one Hard Drive in whereas my old PC had 4..
