Having a wobble day today.

I just keep thinking about the what ifs.
What if we go ahead and pay all our balances (all booked diy) and we have to take a test and one of us tests positive.
What happens if you can only go if you’ve been vaccinated? Kids won’t have been.
What happens if we are suddenly plunged in to a local lockdown and can’t travel?
What happens if we have to quarantine?

It’s so stressful. In the past, all I’ve worried about is the kids breaking an arm in the week before we go.🙈

I have to pay the balance on my flights the day before the government announces the travel guidelines! Typical - do I pay or defer? Hmmmmmm what to do - one day I feel hopeful and the next I don’t

Have you tried asking for an extra day to decide?

Well that’s not good business sense! Do you mind me asking which airline?

If you’re on Twitter, Paul Charles tweeted this evening that vaccine progress and communications in the travel industry going back and forth between Washington and London are leading him to believe 1 July is possible for reopening travel.

Saw this, he is usually pretty accurate in his predictions, fingers crossed he is on this occasion too!

Very interesting. Also quite a logical date, if they can offer all American adults a first dose by the end of May (and they will have done millions of single dose J&J by then) then the second does would be by the third week of June. Please let it be true!
