TUI Iceland

I am planning on booking a trip with TUI. Has anyone booked Iceland with them before and taken the ones that come with inclusive trips.?

If you have been to Iceland what do you recommend? I am leaning towards the Storm Hotel, just deciding whether to do my own trips or not.

We are going for 3 nights, I want to do a lights trip and pray we see them, Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon.

I am using TUI as I have compensation from a holiday last year that needs spending.

We stayed at the Hotel Fron in central Reykjavik, where everything was walkable. We did the Golden Circle tour which was great, and were going to do the Northern Lights tour, but unfortunately it was cancelled for the five nights we were there due to weather conditions. We used Grayline for tours. Restaurants are pricey, but the food was lovely. 😀

We did 3 nights to Iceland a few years ago in March and I can honestly say it was incredible and so unique

We stayed at The Hotel Skuggi in Reykjavik which was central for everything and I would highly recommend

We did a northern lights trip on the first night and we were so lucky to see them

Did the golden circle and the south tour and both were amazing, we did them with Geoiceland who use small minibuses and they were fab, great drivers, small groups and a bit of off roading thrown in

We spent the last day before flying home walking around Reykjavik itself, it is very walkable and a lovely city, the harbour area is lovely

Never did the lagoon as we just didn't fancy it but I know lots of people love it.

Everything was booked separately by us and I'm sure you are aware just how expensive eating and drinking are but we knew that and went prepared!

The drinking water there is amazing, so fresh and clean so we just filled our water bottles up with that.

Whatever you choose to do you will have a fabulous time and I cannot wait to go back

There is a duty free shop as you land so if you want to pick up drinks/snacks that's the place to do it

I went about 15 years ago, and the only tour we did was the Golden Circle.
Been trying to book a return trip with family but it's been cancelled twice already so holding off for next year maybe.
